Brittany weather

Britanny average temperatures

The weather in Brittany is often said to be like the climate in the south of England, but in fact it is even milder. Spring and summer start earlier than in the UK and the winters are usually much warmer than those in England.

It is also true that Brittany has one of the lowest rainfall figures in France, yet we rarely have a restriction on water in the hottest summer months. The average temperature in July might be 25°c but it is frequently higher and in August the temperatures are very often in the low 30°s. Summer showers are often short-lived and minutes later the sun and bluest skies re-appear.

The beautiful weather can often take us well into October.
